Autumn

This is a Gina K inspired card.  Using the Score Buddy again but this time to score the cardstock.  The image layer (tree by I Brake for Stamps) was scored around the edges and the base rust layer was stamped first (with Inkadinkado) flying leaves and then scored, each layer was sponged with Distress inks, I think Tea Dye.  I got the brads at Michael's (GASP, not Hobby Lobby?  I do get out of town once in a while and shop other places if I can, not often....and don't ask about my trip to Michael's in Midland TX when I went to pick up my DD)  I just looped the brown grossgrain along the edges 3 times.  Since I took the picture, I decided to sponge a little color (rust & yellow) over the leaves to add a little color so it didn't look so drab.

Hiya Betty...haven't been on blogs much. I get too obsessed surfing around and before I know it I have wasted 3 hours! I just don't have time to waste with Christmas on the horizon! Your new horse is beautiful, and so is Gus!

No you don't have to use that brand of noodle. any will do, but i picked this brand because it is a high fibre one...there are similiar ones in the US for sure.

good luck with your ankle, my thumb is still sore! got a little more numb after getting the hardware out but it no longer hurts where the screw was. so just time! now i have two other fingers that are numb too because of the pinched nerve. gosh! this getting older thing really isn't working out for me.

Hey Miss Betty! I tried to email you back about the roads last week and... well.. it bounced back for some reason. I just wanted to say that I'm glad DD made it home safe and sound. I did say prayers for safe travels and I hope you enjoyed your holiday together. I'll try to breath some of my hot air that way so that she can make it home for Christmas!! LOL! Hope life is treating you well! Your card on this post is beautiful-- great "man" card! :-)
